Stacey Silva Bristles at Florian’s ‘Weird and Awkward’ Best Man Pick

Stacey Silva is concerned her fiancé Florian Sukaj’s choice of best man could put a damper on their wedding day.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive preview of Monday’s episode of Darcey & StaceyStacey is shocked to learn that Florian wants her twin sister Darcey’s ex, Georgi Rusev, to be his right hand man on his and Stacey’s big day.

The bombshell comes as the couple continues to search for the perfect wedding venue.

“This place is fantastic. He is gorgeous. It feels like we’re in an old Hollywood movie for something,” says Stacey. “It’s very unique like my personality.”

However, Florian seems underwhelmed and shares: “I like it, but I would like to see more options.”

The couple’s wedding coordinator, Danielle, urges them to make a decision quickly, telling them, “Don’t pressure them, but this is the busiest wedding year since 1984 because you’ve got all these weddings in 2020 that’s still going on didn’t happen, so everything is booked in advance like crazy. We have to act fast to lock people up.”

The conversation then turns to wedding finances, which have been a sticking point between the couple throughout Season 4 of the TLC series.

Stacey says, “So let’s put some numbers together and find out what something like this is going to cost.”

“Ballpark. About $70,000 if you look at 100 people,” Danielle replies. “If you go up to 150 people, it will be closer [$90,000].”

The 90 day fiance Alum agrees, while Florian argues, “You can buy [a] house” for this cost.

Stacey tries to reassure her husband-to-be about the award by telling him, “Trust me you’ll be glad we did this 50 years from now when we look at the pictures and I’ll still look like this, you know you young and old beautiful and, you know, raised.”

But Danielle’s questions about her wedding party soon spark new tension.

After Stacey informs her that Darcey will be her maid of honor, Danielle asks Florian, “And you have a best man?”

Florian realizes it’s time to get clean. “I [have not] told Stacey who my best man is,” he admits. “All [is] will annoy me But I can’t hide it any longer.”

“I’m thinking of Georgi,” he reveals.

“Are you serious?” asks Stacey. “I don’t understand. So will you choose Georgi? As if that would be very weird and awkward and cause unnecessary drama.”

In a confessional, Stacey admits to seeing storm clouds on the horizon with Georgi as best man at her wedding.

“I’m so mad, but I’m going to keep my cool because I don’t want to lose my nerve in front of Danielle,” she says. “Florian really chose the wrong place and wrong time to tell me this news.
