The Super Bowl is the only event on television where people actually expect the commercials.

Viewers will be surprised when they first see the commercials on TV, but Fox has set a strict schedule for placing the commercials during the big game. Part of this schedule, at least quarterly, has already been published, according to the Sports Business Journal.

How much will Super Bowl commercials cost in 2023?

The Super Bowl is the most-watched event on television each year. Last year it averaged 112.3 million viewers. So putting your product in front of all these eyes costs quite a bit of money.

Front Office Sports reported that the cost of 30 seconds of advertising time on Fox will be $7 million in 2023. During a Super Bowl, there can typically be around 50 minutes’ worth of advertising, meaning Fox could generate $700 million from ads alone.
