The first new album from Atlanta rapper and singer 6LACK in five years Because I have a lover tops our shortlist for the best releases coming out on March 24th.

It’s been five years since Atlanta rapper and singer 6LACK released a full-length project, but he’s back this week with the emotional and brilliantly produced one Because I have a lover. We hear multiple snippets from across the album to open this week’s show and talk about how 6LACK is using intimacy and honesty to uncover what Radio Milwaukee’s Tarik Moody says is the “complexity of black men” in America.
