Tune in to Disney Plus Season 3 of The Mandalorian Episode 4 for the continuation of a story that caused surprises last week. When we weren’t following Doctor Pershing (Omid Abtahi), we saw Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) actually be welcomed back into the Mandalorian flock.

So now it looks like she will continue to be an ally of sorts for Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu. Bo-Katan doesn’t necessarily want that – she even said that she doesn’t go the way. She would much rather reclaim the Darksaber and the power her family once possessed.
Interestingly, Bo-Katan was telling the truth when The Armorer (Emily Swallow) asked if she had taken her helmet off since going into the Living Waters beneath the mines of Mandalore. All of this leaves us wondering if she will fully regain her previous class status or if there is more to do.
Meanwhile, trouble is brewing in The New Republic. On Coruscant, we saw cloning expert Dr. Pershing (who worked for Moff Gideon) presented the reasons for continuing his research – which was banned. Former colleague Elia Kane (Katy M. O’Brian) befriends Pershing, but for nefarious reasons. She tortured him by turning the knob on the Mind Flayer machine.
Is this a prelude to the return of Moff Gideon? We’ll find out sooner or later. Anyhow, I’m not surprised that The Mandalorian season 3 is reportedly struggling with its ratings.
