Today is the last day to preorder Samsung’s Galaxy S23 phones and Galaxy Book3 laptops
If you’ve been hoping to upgrade your smartphone or laptop, you’ll soon be able to get your hands on Samsung’s Galaxy S23, Galaxy Book3 Pro, and Galaxy Book3 Pro 360. The devices will be generally available starting tomorrow, February 17th. But you’ll need to act fast if you want to take advantage of Samsung’s ongoing pre-order promotions before they expire at 3pm ET / 12pm PT tonight.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series consists of three phones: the standard S23, the S23 Plus and the S23 Ultra. Samsung is currently offering free storage upgrades and up to $150 in Samsung credit when you purchase the 6.1-inch Galaxy S23 starting at $799.99 or the 6.3-inch Galaxy S23 Plus $999.99 pre-order. Both Amazon and Best Buy are also offering free storage expansion and a $50 gift card if you preorder the Galaxy S23 for the same price, or a $100 gift card if you buy the Galaxy S23 Plus (Amazon, Best Buy) preorder. Note, however, that Best Buy’s deal expires at 1 p.m. ET on February 17.
The 6.8-inch Galaxy S23 Ultra is available with a $150 Samsung Store Gift Card and free storage upgrade when you preorder directly from Samsung starting at $1,199.99. This credit can be used to buy one of Samsung’s new laptops or a handful of accessories, but you can’t use it to offset the price of the phone itself. If you prefer another retailer, Amazon and Best Buy are also offering the above storage upgrade and a $100 gift card when you pre-order the Galaxy S23 Ultra for $1,199.99.
Samsung’s latest phones are faster than the S22 series thanks to a new, Galaxy-optimized version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Each S23 phone also comes with a larger battery and other incremental improvements, although only the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a stylus and a 200-megapixel main camera sensor. On the laptop front, Samsung is still offering a free memory upgrade and a $50 Samsung credit when you pre-order the 14-inch Galaxy Book3 Pro, starting at $1,449.99 — at least until June 17. February at 3 a.m. ET. Best Buy is offering the same deal through February 17th at 1pm ET. The same promotion applies to the 16-inch Galaxy Book3 Pro 360, which is available for pre-order from Samsung and Best Buy starting at $1,899.99, and the upcoming Galaxy Book3 Ultra, which will launch on February 22 and will be available from Samsung and Best Buy pre-order prices start at $2,199.99.
All three laptops are powered by Intel’s 13th Gen Core processors and feature 1800p OLED displays with fast 120Hz refresh rates. However, the Galaxy Book3 Ultra – which can easily be seen as a rival to Apple’s latest MacBook Pro – has more a large 16-inch display and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU.
