The top 14 non-quarterbacks signed in the NFL Free Agency

Today we looked at five quarterbacks who were signed in the National Football League’s free agency. Now let’s take a look at 14 more free agency signings as of Monday, according to spotrac.com. The contracts are ranked based on their financial terms at a minimum of $10 million per year.


13) Bobby Okereke—New York Giants

The San Mateo, California linebacker signed a four-year, $40 million deal. Okereke has played the last four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts. In 2022, he had 151 combined tackles (99 solo tackles and 52 assisted tackles), six tackles for a loss, five pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.


13) Nate Davis Chicago Bears

The offensive lineman, from York, Maine, signed a three-year, $30 million deal. He has played the last four seasons with the New York Giants.


12) Cameron Sutton-Detroit Lions

The Jonesboro, Georgia cornerback signed a three-year, $33 million deal. He played the last six seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 2022, he had 43 combined tackles (35 solo tackles and eight assists), three interceptions for 26 yards, 15 pass deflections, and one tackle for a loss.


11) David Onyemata – Atlanta Falcons

The Nigerian and Canadian signed a three-year deal worth $35 million. The University of Manitoba product has played the past seven seasons in New Orleans. In 2022, he had 43 combined tackles (25 solo tackles and 18 assists), 11 quarterback hits, five tackles for a loss, five sacks, a pass deflection, and a fumble recovery. The struggling recovery came on Oct. 9 with a 39-32 win for the Saints over the Seattle Seahawks.


10) Ben Powers – Denver Broncos

The offensive guard from Wichita, Kansas, signed a four-year contract valued at $51.5 million. He played the last four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.


9) Marcus Davenport-Minnesota Vikings

The San Antonio, Texas defensive end signed a one-year deal worth $13 million. He played the last five seasons with the New Orleans Saints. In 2022, he had 29 combined tackles (16 solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles), two tackles for a loss, eight quarterback hits and a half sack. The two battles for a loss came in the Saints’ 24-0 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Oct. 30.


8) Dalvin Tomlinson-Cleveland Browns

The McDonough, Georgia-based defensive tackle signed a four-year, $57 million deal. He has played four seasons with the New York Giants (2017 to 2020) and two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings (2021 and 2022). In 2022, Tomlinson played in 13 games and had 42 combined tackles (20 solo tackles and 22 assists), 10 quarterback hits, three tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. The fiddly recovery came in a 23-7 win for the Vikings over the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 11. The forced fumble came in a 28-25 Vikings win over the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 2.


7) Zach Allen-Denver Broncos

The New Canaan, Connecticut, defensive end signed a three-year deal valued at $47.75 million. He has played his last four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. In 13 games in 2022, Allen had 47 combined tackles (23 solo tackles and 24 assists), 20 quarterback hits, 10 tackles for a loss, eight pass deflections and 5.5 sacks.



6) Jessie Bates III—Atlanta Falcons

The Fort Wayne, Indiana-based security signed a four-year deal valued at $64.02 million. He has played for the Cincinnati Bengals for the last five seasons. In 16 games in 2022, Bates III had 71 combined tackles (38 solo tackles and 33 assists), one tackle for a loss, four interceptions for 28 yards, eight pass deflections and one forced fumble. On New Year’s Eve, the Bengals defeated the New England Patriots 10-18. The forced fumble came in a 27-16 Bengals win over the Baltimore Ravens on Jan. 8.


5) Dre’Mont Jones-Seattle Seahawks

The Cleveland, Ohio defenseman signed a three-year deal valued at $51.53 million. Jones has played the last four seasons with the Denver Broncos. In 2022, he had 47 combined tackles (24 solo tackles and 23 assists), 10 quarterback hits, nine tackles for one loss, 6.5 sacks and one forced fumble. Jones’ forced fumble resulted in a 16-9 Broncos win over the Houston Texans on Sept. 18.


4) Mike McGlinchey – Denver Broncos

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native The Right Tackle signed a five-year deal valued at $87.5 million. McGlinchey played five seasons with the San Francisco 49ers from 2018 to 2022.


3) Tremaine Edmunds Chicago Bears

The Danville, Virginia linebacker signed a four-year, $72 million deal. A two-time Pro Bowler (2019 and 2020), Edmunds played 13 games in 2022. He had 102 combined tackles (66 solo tackles and 33 assists), six tackles for a loss, three quarterback hits, a four-yard interception, a sack and seven deflections. Edmunds’ sack came in a 41-7 Bills win over the Tennessee Titans on September 19. Edmunds’ interception came in a 35-23 Bills win over the New England Patriots on January 8.


2) Jawaan Taylor-Kansas City Chiefs

Cocoa, Fla.-based The Right Tackle signed a four-year, $80 million deal. He played his last four seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars and had one solo tackle.


1) Javon Hargrave-San Francisco 49ers

The defensive tackle from Salisbury, North Carolina, signed a four-year contract valued at $84 million. He played four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2016-2019 and the last three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles from 2020-2022. In 2021 Hargrave was voted to the Pro Bowl. In 2022, Hargrave had 60 combined tackles (37 solo tackles and 23 assists), 10 tackles for a loss, 16 quarterback hits, 11 sacks, two pass deflections, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. Hargrave’s forced recovery came in a 24-8 Eagles win over the Washington Commanders on September 25 and a 29-21 Eagles win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on October 2. Hargrave’s forced fumble continued in a 35-13 Eagles win over the Pittsburgh Steelers Oct. 30. Hargrave’s pass deflections came on January 8 in a 26-17 win for the Eagles over the Dallas Cowboys and in a 22-16 win for the Eagles over the New York Giants.
