Tower of Fantasy: How to Get to and Leave the Artificial Island

New for tower of fantasy is the artificial island zone, a smaller but still sprawling area full of cores, activities, a new boss and lots of secrets. Knowing all this, you might be wondering how to get there.

The artificial island isn’t immediately available to everyone, and you’ll need to spend some time in the base game before you can access the new area. However, these limitations are for the best; The artificial island hosts some of the more difficult challenges available in the game. Here’s what you need to know.

How to access the artificial island

You must meet two core requirements to gain access to the artificial island.

• Proceed to Chapter 2 in the story campaign.
• Reach Wanderer level 50. Since leveling is time limited, this will take some time. See ours Quick Level Up Guide for more help there.

Once you have reached these two milestones, go to Banges Dock where you traveled to at the beginning of Chapter 2. If you make it there:

• Go to your Rewards tab.
• Select Artificial Island in the left sidebar.

This will make the “Kalador’s invitation” Screen. Click Go for directions to talk to Kalador, president of Banges and creator of the artificial island, near his airship.

Head to the airship and the island where Kalador will guide you through a short quest chain. He will introduce you to the various construction sites that will make up your base and then send you to a nearby hyena camp. Oddly enough You don’t have to fight the Hyena enemies only reach their camp there.

At this point, return to Kalador for a little more tutorial, and then you can explore with impunity.

Note that You don’t have to complete Kalador’s side quest to actually participate in activities on the artificial island. Even so, the markers will not disappear from your HUD until you complete the quest chain. If you can stomach having that extra blue dot on your screen at all times, then don’t worry about these final steps, but they’re an excellent introduction to the new systems.

How to leave the artificial island

If you want to leave the artificial island, You must return to your base and interact with the airship there. There’s no way to fast travel between Asperia and Asperia, so grab the spacerift near the ship.
