NHL Pick Today: Tampa Bay Lightning -1.5 vs. Montreal Canadiens (-110), 7:00 p.m. ET
The Canadiens have a miserable 1-7-2 in their last 10 games and are firmly tied for last in the Atlantic Division. Meanwhile, the Lightning are firmly in a top 3 spot in the Atlantic. So it’s not surprising that Tampa is a big favorite away from home as well.
These are simply 2 different team calibers, especially since Montreal’s season was all but lost when Cole Caufield was injured. It wasn’t really close between these teams either. In the last 3 matchups, the Lightning have stormed the Canadiens with an aggregate score of 14-5. There’s no reason not to expect another win by at least 2 goals tonight.

NBA picks today: Cleveland Cavaliers -3 over Brooklyn Nets (-110), 7:40 p.m. ET
With 3 wins in their last 4 games and a Knicks loss last night, the Cavaliers are as good as 4th in the Eastern Conference. They are one of the most difficult teams to score on and often lull teams to sleep with their slow pace and tenacity on defense.
Brooklyn has dominated this duel at home and has won 5 in a row, but this time the circumstances are very different. Without Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the Nets are a .500 team at best. They lost 3 games in a row and the offense really struggled during that stretch, scoring only 102, 96 and 107 points which is bad news against one of the best defensive teams in the league.
Cleveland isn’t the most reliable road team in the league, but their streak of 6 wins in 8 games should put them within reach of a win tonight.

NHL Pick Today: Dallas Stars ML vs. Seattle Kraken (-165), 8:30 p.m. ET
This will be the third meeting between these teams in just over a week. They played back-to-back games in Seattle, with the Stars emerging victorious from each competition.
Now on the home ice in Dallas, it’s difficult to expect anything but the same result. They needed overtime in the first matchup but settled the deal just two nights later in a 5-2 win. The Stars also concede the sixth fewest goals per game. For this reason, the game will be to support the Stars to once again achieve an important victory against the Kraken.

Today’s NHL Pick: Vegas Golden Knights ML via Vancouver Canucks (-140), 10:00 p.m. ET
Aside from both being in the Pacific Division, there aren’t many similarities between these teams. The Golden Knights have been on top for most of the season, while the Canucks are at the bottom with the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks.
For a division leader, the Golden Knights haven’t always been the most consistent team this year. However, that has changed lately as they have been 8-2-0 in the last 10 games. That includes an incredible 4-0 away win over the Carolina Hurricanes, who are the second-best team in the NHL. Now they face the side that concedes the second most goals per game and they should look to business.
