Leona Maguire finished 20th in the HSBC Women’s World Championship this morning.

A 1-under par final round of 71 saw her with 7-under par for the Singapore tournament.

That was 10 shots shy of winner Jin Young Ko of South Korea, who retained her title with a two-shot win over America’s Nelly Korda.

Arnold Palmer invitation

Rory McIlroy is the best of the Irish ahead of the Arnold Palmer Invitational finals later today in Florida.

He hit a four-under par round of 68 last night, leaving him six under par overall.

He is tied in fifth place and just three shots from the lead held by American Kurt Kitayama.
