Meanwhile, the Chargers were first on the board but had to settle for second place at the end of their matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs last Thursday. Los Angeles lagged behind Kansas City at 27:24. Los Angeles’ loss shouldn’t eclipse the performances of QB Justin Herbert, who passed on 48 attempts for three TDs and 334 yards, and WR Mike Williams, who caught eight passes for one TD and 113 yards. Herbert landed with a passer rating of 143.70.
Jacksonville’s win put them 1-1, while Los Angeles’ loss dropped them to 1-1. We’ll find out if the Jaguars can add another positive note to their tally, or if the Chargers can shrug off the loss and take the spring to Jacksonville.
