What channel is Michigan State vs. Marquette on today? Time, TV schedule for 2023 March Madness Round 2 game

A spot in the Sweet 16 is at stake on Sunday when the 7-seeded Michigan State Spartans and the 2-seeded Marquette Golden Eagles battle it out.

Both teams advanced with double-digit wins in their respective first-round games on Friday, with Michigan State edging away with a 72-62 win over USC while Marquette drove to a 78-61 win over Vermont.

Now things are looking up and the stakes are higher as Tom Izzo’s Spartans seek their first trip to the Sweet 16 since 2019, while Shaka Smart aims to lead the Golden Eagles to the Sweet 16 for the first time in a decade.

Marquette (29-6) is a battle-hardened team that entered the tournament with the momentum of a Big East Conference tournament win. The Golden Eagles have one of the best offenses in college basketball, fueled by guards Kam Jones and Big East Player of the Year Tyler Kolek.

Michigan State (20-12) goes like the trio of AJ Hoggard, Joey Hauser and Tyson Walker. In the win over USC, the three combined for 30 points in 13-for-27 shooting, with Hauser leading the way with 17 points and eight rebounds, including 4-for-6 shooting from deep.
