What channel is UConn vs. Gonzaga on today? Time, TV schedule to watch March Madness Elite Eight game

Connecticut and Gonzaga were both expected to be successful at this year’s NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament, and they succeeded. The two teams will face each other in the Elite Eight for a trip to Houston and the Final Four on the line.

But how everyone got to that point was a little different. UConn has largely throttled its opponents. The closest game of the tournament so far for the Huskies came in the second round when they defeated No. 5 Saint Mary’s 70-55. Playing against No. 13 Iona in the first round and No. 8 Arkansas in the Sweet Sixteen? These were each decided with at least 23 points.

Gonzaga had a more challenging path to the Elite Eight. After a 12-point win over No. 14 Grand Canyon, the Bulldogs edged out No. 6 TCU by just three points — although it was a last-second TCU 3 that kept the game from becoming a six-point game.

Then on Thursday, Gonzaga pulled off an impressive comeback against UCLA No. 2, overcame a 13-point halftime deficit and finally won, 3-point down from Julian Strawther by 7.2 seconds to reclaim the lead for good and win 79 -76.
