When does the 2022-23 NBA season start?

Official dates for training camps and the start of the regular season have not yet been announced, but training camps will start in late September with the regular season starting weeks later in October.
According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the 2022-23 NBA season begins on Tuesday, October 18.

The Warriors receive their championship rings when they host the Lakers as part of opening night. Since the NBA season typically kicks off with a doubleheader, the other half of the opening night schedule has yet to be released.
