When is the World Men’s Curling Championship? Date & location for 2023 event

The men’s world champion of 2023 is to be crowned soon.

The Men’s Curling World Championship is fast approaching. Countries around the world are either currently competing or have already completed their national tournaments to determine who gets the call to play on the world stage.

Canada has not won the event since 2017 when Brad Gushue’s team defeated Niklas Edin’s Swedish crew. Edin has won the last four consecutive Men’s World Championships.

When is the 2023 Men’s World Curling Championship?

The 2023 Men’s World Curling Championship begins on Saturday April 1st and runs through Sunday April 9th.

The round-robin will take place from April 1st to April 7th, with the playoffs starting on April 8th.

Where is the 2023 Men’s World Curling Championship?

  • Venue: TD Place Arena
  • Location: Ottawa, Ont.

This year’s World Cup will be held in Canada’s capital, Ottawa.

The arena is home to the Ottawa 67s of the Ontario Hockey League. It is also the former home of the Senators who played at the stadium from 1992 to 1995.

Ottawa has never hosted the Men’s Worlds. Canada previously hosted the 2021 tournament in Calgary.
