After one of the biggest upsets in MMA history, Kamaru Usman is a man out for revenge. The former UFC welterweight champion is looking to reclaim his place at the top at the expense of longtime rival Leon Edwards.

The trilogy fight for Edward’s UFC welterweight title takes place on March 18 at the O2 Arena in London.

Edwards made his pro debut in 2011. A former BAMMA welterweight champion, he joined the UFC in 2014, losing to Claudio Silva. After that loss, Edwards went 12-1 with a no-contest. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and fight postponements, Edwards did not compete from August 2019 to March 2021 when he fought Belal Muhammad to a no-contest.

He returned to action in June 2021, beating the legendary Nate Diaz.
