It won’t surprise you that Disney’s latest reimagining of an animated classic is streaming on Disney+. As is the current trend in modern media, the biggest releases often choose to snub theaters in favor of adopting subscription platforms. After the initial announcement, the release was planned Pinocchio to theaters, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was reported in December 2020 that this would be changed to a full Disney+ release.
