When is Women’s Selection Sunday 2023?

The NCAA women’s basketball tournament selection show will air Sunday, March 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET after the men’s. At that point, the full field of 68 teams will be announced, including the 32 automatic qualifiers and the 36 at-large bids.

2023 NCAA Women’s Tournament Schedule

The 2023 NCAA Women’s Tournament begins Wednesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 16 with first-four competition. This will ignite the spark for six straight days of women’s college basketball action.

The first round begins on Friday March 17th and Saturday March 18th, with the second round immediately following on Sunday March 19th and Monday March 20th.

With the first three rounds taking place in the 16 home arenas of the four top seeds, there are four days to travel and prepare for the two regional events. The Sweet 16 and Elite 8 will take place March 24-27 in Seattle and Greenville, South Carolina.

The remaining teams have four days off before they face off in the Final Four on Friday, March 31st.

The 2023 NCAA Women’s Tournament concludes with the national championship game on Sunday, April 2nd.
