Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is one of the most beautiful games on the Switch, and it would be a waste to enjoy the world without taking a nice screenshot or two (or hundreds) of the stunning world of Aionios. While the Switch offers a handy way to take screenshots natively, there’s one thing that gets in the way of those huge vistas – the HUD.

But don’t worry – there is a way to get rid of all those extra bits on the screen and get some perfect shots of your favorite places in Aionios.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – How to hide the HUD and make clean screengrabs?

During cutscenes, you can simply use the screenshot button on your Switch to get some incredible action scenes and tender moments, but things like the minimap, quest markers, enemy levels, and character stats remain on as you roam the world. Screen.

To take a screenshot without all those little things cluttering up your perfect shot, Simultaneously press the “L” and “R” keys.. This will make the HUD details disappear briefly and your Switch will emit that satisfying snapshot sound. You can then view your results in your console’s photo album!

You can also hop on or off for an even better view. Hold the ‘ZL’ buttonand then move the Right analog stick up or down to zoom in or out.
