Preview of round 3
If you’re an American golf fan and didn’t stay up late this week to watch the Zozo Championship, you might want to tune in to Friday night. Why? Because one of the most popular golfers of the last decade is aiming for a comeback win.
Rickie Fowler followed up an opening round 67 with an outstanding seven-under-63 in Round 2. That put him in the lead at halftime with Andrew Putnam, with 36 holes to navigate to win his first PGA Tour win since February 2019.
Fowler starts Friday night at 9:22 p.m. ET with Putnam and Keegan Bradley in the final pairing. You can watch the third round televised Thursday night at 10:30pm ET on Golf Channel or stream the action on Golfchannel.com and NBCSports.com.
