How to win these NBA- NFL bets
The countdown to Super Bowl LVII is on. The Philadelphia Eagles will take on the Kansas City Chiefs in an amazing championship game. Also, bettors have a few days to place all the bets we need to invest excessively in Sunday’s competition.
As we know, betting is not just limited to game lines. There are some truly unimaginable bets to be found here. And some that span multiple sports leagues.
We’ve delved a bit into cross-sport prop bets that are worth spending a little money on. With a particular focus on NBA-NFL sports betting, here are five you need to make ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl.

The Choice: Yes Morant helps
This one seems pretty easy.
One of the best tight ends to ever play pro football, is Travis Kelce capable of catching a ton of passes? Absolutely — he’s recorded 10 or more receptions five times this postseason in his 10-year NFL career. And while that’s great, it’s more likely that Ja Morant’s total assist will surpass Kelce’s catch count on Saturday.
As a point guard, Morant often has the ball in his hands and can decide what to do with it. He’s averaged 9.6 assists per game in his last five games, which includes four games with at least 11 assists. My money’s on him because of Kelce.
The Choice: Jalen Hurt’s Rush Attempts
I’m going off with this one to say that hurts will do more rush attempts overall than embiid rebounds. It sounds silly because Joel Embiid is so physically imposing and dominant. But quietly, he’s averaging just 10.2 rebounds, which is the lowest average since his rookie season (7.8).
On the other hand, Jalen Hurts averages 10.9 rush attempts per game. Whether on purpose or due to pressure, Hurts often uses his legs to make the Eagles offense one of the toughest to defend.
Ultimately, I go with the guy who has the ball in his hands for almost every possession.
The pick: LeBron James Pts+Reb+Ast
If you’ve read the section above, you know I’m blown away by Jalen Hurt’s ability to use his legs. But we’re talking LeBron James here; the LeBron James who is still doing incredible things on the basketball court at 35, the LeBron James who advocates being the greatest basketball player of all time, and the LeBron James who records a 30-point triple-double in his sleep can. A final stat line of about 40 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists isn’t crazy to expect. My money is on the king.
The Choice: Patrick Mahomes Passing Degrees
Simply put, it is not advisable to bet against Patrick Mahomes, regardless of how many good knuckles he can play football on. He is truly one of a kind and like LeBron James there is nothing that should be taken as unexpected when looking at Mahomes’ stats at the end of each game. This is not a blow to Morant, but an unshakable optimism for Mahomes.
The choice: Tatum made a threesome
What are we talking about – two, maybe three field goals from Butker on Sunday? That’s a low bar for Jayson Tatum when it comes to measuring that performance against 3-point attempts. The mere fact that he’s making almost 10.0 threes a game gives me all the confidence in the world that he’s going to make about a four or five. And Butker doesn’t top that. If so, the Chiefs could be in trouble.
Easy bet.
