Latest Bentley Continental GT Spy Photos Provide Clearer Look At Styling

The headlights and grille borrow details from the Bentley Batur and Bacalar.

Bentley just teased us about another outing in the refreshed Continental GT, so we can bring you the clearest photos of the car yet. While not fully uncamouflaged, these photos offer the best view of the appearance of the car, which is expected to go on sale later this year.

Based on what we’re seeing, the headlights resemble the look of either the Bentley Batur or the Bacalar, with the latter being the safe bet due to the oval shape and prominent LED daytime running light strip. The design of the front apron is also new. We can now see it reaching higher, so high that the headlights actually sit in the bumper rather than the front fenders.

The grille looks a little smaller, or at least a little lower than the current Continental GT, but is more pronounced. As with the Bacalar, Bentley appears to be updating its design language to add more emphasis to the grille and tie the styling to classic Bentleys like the old Continentals.

At the back, the taillights have grown longer and protrude more into the sides of the car. The rear fender line is more pronounced and tapers with the rear deck neatly held together with a small lip spoiler. The trunk lid extends further down the rear of the car, offering a slightly larger opening.

Performance is expected in the form of V6 and V8 hybrid setups. The V8 Continental GT aims to keep up with the current W12 version of the Mulliner. With 650 horsepower, it’s good for a 0-60 mph sprint in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph. The V6 would likely be part of a PHEV powertrain like the one tested last year, but the V8 is likely to become one too receive their own form of electrification.

Interior changes are expected to be minimal, with revisions primarily focusing on revised trim, upholstery and other materials. A revised infotainment system is also rumored to be in the works, allowing the new Continental GT to stay up to date like its Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG competition.
