Access the latest 48GB DDR5-7000 memory kits with ASUS motherboards

ASUS Prime motherboard and two Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory kits

When you grab an Intel 700 or 600 series motherboard from our ROG Maximus, ROG Strix, ProArt, TUF Gaming or Prime lines, you often have a choice. Should you go with an option that supports the latest generation of budget-friendly DDR4 memory, or should you future-proof your purchase with a DDR5 model instead? As the market for DDR5 RAM matures, it’s becoming harder for enthusiasts to ignore the performance potential of next-gen memory. Now it’s even easier to recommend our motherboards with DDR5 support. We are proud to announce that our entire range of 700 and 600 series motherboards can support the latest 24GB DDR5 memory modules with a BIOS update.

A simple BIOS update is all it takes to unlock the full potential of these new memory kits. We’ve been working closely with Corsair on the upcoming 2x24GB memory kits and have confirmed that our entire lineup can support up to 48GB of DDR5 RAM at 7000MT/s, or up to 192GB of DDR5 RAM at 5600MT/s . Whether you prefer a state-of-the-art Z790 motherboard for ultimate overclocking, or a feature-packed yet wallet-friendly B760 option, you can pair it with a DDR5 memory kit that offers the right mix of capacity and speed for your workflow.

Ready for enthusiasts of all kinds

When many of us buy a new and larger memory kit, we joke with friends or family about how we can use it to open even more browser tabs. There’s a grain of truth in this joke, although it would take a pretty impressive number of browser tabs to noticeably clog a modern PC with 16GB of RAM. The truth is that many of us can actually take advantage of larger pools of high-bandwidth RAM. Some games alone can take up more than 16GB of RAM, and that’s before considering apps you might prefer to keep running in the background. Video editors, architects, product designers, 3D modelers, twitch streamers, engineers, data scientists, and many others routinely launch memory-sensitive workloads.

These professionals and developers—not to mention all of us who multitask heavily on a daily basis—have been watching the evolving DDR5 market with excitement. The next generation of memory kits deliver better scaling for today’s high-core count CPUs, massive increases in bandwidth, and welcome efficiency improvements without significantly impacting overall system latency. Upcoming DDR5 memory modules from manufacturers like Corsair are characterized by how much storage capacity they offer at stunning data transfer rates. DDR5-7000 kits are currently available, but are limited to 16GB per module. Corsair’s new Vengeance DDR5 48GB (2x24GB) DDR5 7000 memory modules give you up to 48GB of 7000 MT/s DDR5 RAM. This is a tempting offer for those who not only need a lot of storage, but also need a lot of high-speed storage. Would you rather equip your PC with even more RAM? Upcoming kits like Corsair’s Vengeance DDR5 192 GB (4 x 48 GB) DDR5 will give you 192 GB of RAM at a very fast data rate of 5600 MT/s.

Keep CPU compatibility in mind when planning your next-gen memory upgrade. You can get the full speed of these new DDR5-5200 and DDR5-5600 kits with either a 12th gene or a 13th Gen Intel Core CPU. However, the DDR5-7000 kits require a 13th Generation Intel CPU to run at its full rated speed.
