ALL.SPACE’s latest strategic executive team appointment gets ready for smart terminal rollout – SatNews

ALL.ROOM, creators of the first intelligent terminal, announced recent appointments to a number of strategic leadership teams. These appointments precede a new multi-link connectivity platform for commercial and government customers beginning earlier this year.

The latest addition to the fast-growing ALL.SPACE team is Mark Steel, who was named Executive Vice President of Product and Marketing in December. Steel brings its extensive industry expertise in user terminal development and market strategy to ALL.SPACE. This comes as the company prepares to deliver the first of its groundbreaking smart terminals to operators and key government customers in the first half of the year. Steel’s appointment follows several executive appointments at the company in recent months.

Steel has over 35 years experience in the communications sector and is originally from the UK. He spent 15 years in the Royal Air Force working on airfield navigation aids including terrestrial microwave links. Steel has extensive experience in the satellite industry, with key roles at Inmarsat as Vice President of Product Development and Strategy and before that as Director for User Terminal Development for the company’s Global Express solution.

Commentary on his appointment by Mark Steel, John Finney, Founder and CEO of ALL.SPACEcalled, “Mark joins ALL.SPACE at an exciting and pivotal time and will absolutely play a pivotal role as we bring our transformative intelligent terminals to market and on our brand momentum as a single, high-performance, multi-link, all-orbit, all-network build platform in the world. Our entire business is focused on delivering our S2000 smart terminals to commercial and government customers around the world.”

Mark Steel, EVP Product and Marketing at ALL.SPACEcalled, “I am thrilled to join a team and company that is at the forefront of innovative technology and will have a major impact on our industry and global connectivity. ALL.SPACE is clearly taking the market to the next level with their product development and is exactly the kind of disruptive company I want to be a part of. The future will be driven by intelligent terminals that can access multiple networks, multiple orbits and multiple frequency bands simultaneously from one terminal, and ALL SPACE will be that solution.”

ALL.SPACE, headquartered in Reading, UK, is the first field-proven platform to simultaneously provide full connectivity across all major orbits from a single device. The company recently completed live field tests with the US and UK governments and several satellite operators demonstrating multiple simultaneous links across LEO, MEO and GEO orbits. This enables users in markets from government and defense to maritime, air and land mobile to take full advantage of new satellite constellations and the convergence of GEO and NGSO services.
