America’s Got Talent instant save wildcard: How to vote
During the September 7th America’s Got Talent results show, the 9th and 10th finalists will be announced by the host Terry Crews. Your work is not over yet, America. An 11th place finish is still up for grabs, so watch out as you pick your favorite eliminated act via the finals instant save wildcard.
During Wednesday’s live episode, each of the four “AGT” judges will nominate a previously eliminated act who they believe deserves another shot. The East Coasts will learn in real time who the four nominees are, while those in the Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones will have to rely on social media and internet sleuths to see who the judges have chosen. Once the judges’ selection is locked, voting will officially open on Twitter page “AGT”. and the official “AGT” app. Remember to vote for the instant save wildcard opens and closes during the results show, so the decision will already be made when the episode airs in the rest of the country. It is therefore important to vote in good time.
NBC’s long-running reality TV show has made a controversial new format change for this current 17th season. Of the 11 contestants who appeared in each of the five qualifying rounds, only two made it to the finals while the other nine were eliminated. Judge/producer Simon blamed previous “boring” contestants for the new rules, hoping it would mean that all current acts would bring their A-games to the live shows.
