Golden State, on the other hand, wants to heat up at the right time, stay in the playoff picture and defend their remarkable title from 2022.

Though James suffered a hand contusion in a block attempt, he avoided a serious injury in the All-Star game and is ruled likely for Thursday night’s game with left foot pain, according to the NBA’s official injury report at 8:30 a.m. James’ comments indicate he will be available to play.
Curry is out with a sprain in his upper left tibia and fibula and will be re-examined in a week.
