Arsenal fans BLAME Kim Kardashian for Europa League exit after she watched game against Sporting Lisbon live
Arsenal fans have blamed American personality Kim Kardashian for the side’s exit from the Europa League last night after she was spotted with her son Saint West during the game against Sporting Lisbon at the Emirates Stadium.
Finally, during the broadcast of the round of 16, BeIn Sports host Carrie Brown confirmed that Kardashian was in attendance after the news ripped through the floor.
“[The] News that seems to be setting fire to social media — yes, Kim Kardashian is here, we can now confirm that from the communications officer,” Brown said.
Kardashian also later publicized her visit on social media, including Instagram Stories that read “Send Help” above a picture of Arsenal matchday programming and bottles of Prime, Arsenal’s official drinking partner.

She filmed another aspect of her visit as Saint West – in a Katie McCabe shirt – cheered on Bukayo Saka as he scored his penalty during the penalty shoot-out against Sporting.
However, some Arsenal fans have blamed Kardashian at the Emirates as the reason the Premier League leaders were eliminated from European competition, suggesting she offered the side bad omens on Thursday night.
“I never want to see Kim Kardashian in North London again,” wrote one fan.
“Kim Kardashian goes to London and we have two injuries and we lose to PKs. This Kardashian is cursing something wild,” said another.
Arsenal drew 2-2 on aggregate with Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League round of 16, with the draw eventually ending on penalties. Gabriel Martinelli’s penalty, Arsenal’s fourth goalscorer, was saved by Sporting goalkeeper and captain Antonio Adán, paving the way for Nuno Santos to improve and send the Portuguese side to the quarter-finals.
He duly did that and knocked Arsenal out of the competition.
“We wanted to get through and put everything into it,” said Mikel Arteta after the game. “The effort the lads put in when it wasn’t our best day, individually and collectively, the hunger and drive to win they showed, the way they came back was incredible, they really wanted it and today is it does not happen.
“We have to keep our heads up, look towards Crystal Palace, there are 11 games left, the first starts on Sunday.”
