Ask questions over email, phone, live chat
While Amazon is known for efficiency and speed, like any online delivery service, there can be a few issues. Maybe your package didn’t arrive or Amazon sent you the wrong items. Maybe you need help changing the address your package is being shipped to, or there’s a problem with your account.
Whatever your query, Amazon has several ways to get in touch with their customer service. Here’s how to contact Amazon and choose the method of your choice.
How to contact Amazon
Amazon’s customer service page has options for most customer needs, including questions about deliveries, sign-up and security, subscriptions, payments, accessibility, and even a section for “something else.” Clicking on “something else” leads to another menu with several options where additional answers can be found.
Amazon’s customer service center also houses a “help library” where users can type in their questions for better luck with specific queries.
Live chat:
If you select “something else” on the customer service help page, the “I need more help” option will take you to Amazon’s live chat. This will open a new window where you can chat with an automated messenger bot.
Phone:
Amazon customer service phone number is 1-888-280-4331. This number is available 24/7.
E-mail:
Amazon’s customer service email address is [email protected], but Insider reports the e-commerce company prefers support via live chat or phone.
Social media:
Amazon operates a Customer Service Twitter Account under the @AmazonHelp handle. The account tweets answer questions in 12 languages.

How do I reach someone on Amazon?
If you want to speak to someone at Amazon, try typing “talk to a staff member” into the live chat system. The messaging assistant gives you three options: chat with a representative, request a phone call back, or return to the Customer Service Hub to view the commonly resolved issues.
How do I file a complaint with Amazon?
You can usually find the resolution to your complaint on Amazon’s customer service page or by speaking with a representative, but some issues require even more.
Amazon Pay, the company’s online payment processing service, accepts payment complaint files through its phone number or address. The phone number is 866-216-1075 and the address is Amazon Payments, Inc. PO Box 81226 Seattle, WA 98108.
Customers may also file complaints through their government agency by contacting the government complaints board listed on the Amazon Pay website.
How do I contact Amazon if I haven’t received my order?
Amazon has an entire section that answers the “Where’s my stuff?” question.
If your package shows it’s been delivered but isn’t at your doorstep, the first thing to try is to verify that you’ve sent it to the correct address. There is also a possibility that the package is in another location close to your delivery location, e.g. B. on the side, or another household member has already adopted it.
Amazon advises customers to wait 48 hours before contacting Amazon about a lost package. To contact Amazon, go to the main Customer Service page and click on “Shipping, Ordering or Returning”.
If you have received the package but an item is missing, Amazon will warn that it may be in another shipment, the status of which you can check by going to Your Orders. If you still cannot find it, use the customer service tool online.
