Barcelona 2-1 Real Madrid LIVE! El Clasico result, match stream and latest updates today
Barcelona’s quest for a 27th Spanish title gained momentum after the LaLiga leaders clinched a 2-1 comeback win over Real Madrid in Sunday’s El Clasico.
The result left second-placed Real 12 points behind Barcelona. Real took an early lead after a cross from Vinicius Jr was deflected off defender Ronald Araujo and went into his own goal. But Barcelona struck back at half-time with a neat finish from close range by Sergi Roberto.
Barcelona continued to push for the winner after the break and finally made it in stoppage time when Alejandro Balde sped down the left channel and crossed to Franck Kessie, who unleashed an unstoppable first touch of the ball to give Barca the win.

Xavi is confident Barcelona deserved the win
“We dominated, we created more chances. I am happy.
“The team gave their all and worked in defense and attack. It’s a very important win for us. I think we were good.
“I think we had more control. They know how to get out of high pressure. The disallowed goal came from our misunderstanding. I think we were generally superior.”
Carlo Ancelotti unhappy with VAR call
“We still have doubts that it is offside. It’s not 100% secure. We return to Madrid with doubts.
“Today we can have no doubts about the game we played. To be honest, we didn’t deserve the defeat.
“I really do not know it. At the World Cup, it was clear that it was offside, but I have my doubts here.”
Another Clasico follows…
We’ve had FOUR El Clasico clashes this season – Barcelona won the last three in a row, Real Madrid won the first in LaLiga.
And in the second leg of the Copa del Rey at the Camp Nou there is still one last serve to come.
That takes place on April 5, with Barcelona scoring one more goal overall.
