Boulter vs Rybakina LIVE! Wimbledon 2023 latest score and updates from Centre Court
Alter vs. Rybakina LIVE!
Katie Boulter needs to beat defending champion Elena Rybakina on Center Court tonight if she wants to continue her Wimbledon run. The 26-year-old is the last British player left in either of the two singles draws after Andy Murray, Cam Norrie and Liam Broady were all beaten in quick succession on Friday.
It was already a test week for Boulter. Her first-round match was interrupted by both rain and protesters and it then took three sets to get past Viktoriya Tomova on Thursday. She has already matched her best Grand Slam run, which was at SW19 12 months ago, and another win here would be the biggest of her career by far.
Rybakina has had limited preparation for her Wimbledon title defense due to her illness, with the third-seeded tennis player yet to show her best tennis this week. Shelby Rogers and Alize Cornet have both caused some trouble for the 24-year-old and Boulter will be confident she can do the same as she is firmly behind her from Center Court.
