After a scoreless performance in Detroit, the Canadians decided to change their line-up for tonight’s game against the Washington Capitals, fielding Rem Pitlick in favor of Jonathan Drouin, who is making his season debut. It will be Drouin’s first game since March 21.

There may be one more change that needs to be made as Kaiden Guhle is listed as a game decider. The rookie defender missed most of the first period and part of the second after taking a hard hit in the gang, although he still played over 16 minutes into the game. They have to hope that the team does what is best for him and doesn’t let another player play through an injury that will only get worse as he lives.

Samuel Montembeault gets the start after Jake Allen held off a Red Wings attack last night and nearly stole two points for a team that was easily outplayed. The Capitals counter with their new regular Darcy Kuemper, who has been idle for two days since conceding four goals in the season opener in Washington.
