Crypto Market At $1.06 Trillion, Bitcoin Loses 3.19%, Ethereum Dips 2.85%

Cryptocurrency prices fell 3.09 percent on Saturday morning after yesterday’s decline. The market was dragged down by losses in Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other altcoins.

Global crypto markets continued to fall on Saturday, February 25, 2023 after yesterday’s losses, weighed down by losses in Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH) and other altcoins.

According to coinmarket.com as of 11:00 a.m. IST on Friday, the market fell to $1.06 trillion on the second day, down 3.09 percent from the previous day. However, trading volume increased by 0.29 percent to $56 billion in the last 24 hours.

STEPN (GMT) continues to be the top trending crypto, but the top gainer of the day was BinaryX (BNX), which is up 25.76 percent to $0.2322. Conflux (CFX) was the biggest loser, falling 19.67 percent to $0.2318.

Bitcoin: BTC fell 3.19 percent to $23,084.19. A sharp drop in BTC price was recorded on February 24 at 20,354 IST when the price fell from $23,847 to $23,132.

In the last 24 hours, the trading volume fell by 10.28 percent to 25.6 billion. BTC dominance stands at 42.1 percent.

Ether: ETH price fell 2.85 percent to $1,598.88.

After trading losses on Friday, Ethereum surged into the green in the afternoon but slipped back into the red at 6:30pm IST. At 8:30 p.m., the price dropped from $1,638 to $1,589 in an hour. Since then, ETH has not recovered. ETH trading volume increased by 3.79 percent to $8.6 billion.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) is down 3.54 percent at $22.97.

In 24-hour trade, Ripple (XRP) price fell 2.65 percent to $0.3775, despite its trading volume increasing by 3 percent.

Cardano (ADA) fell 4.39 percent to $0.3638. After a 32.06 percent increase, the 24-hour trading volume reached $377 million.

Binance (BNB) fell 2.70 percent to $300.87. 24-hour trading volume fell 1.99 percent to $449 million.

Dogecoin fell 3.53 percent to $0.08128 and its 24-hour trading volume increased by 40.34 percent.

Shiba Inu is down 3.95 percent at $0.00001254.

Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Yearn.Finance (YFI) fell 9.65 percent despite its 24-hour trading volume falling 35 percent.

Avalanche (AVAX) is down 6.82 percent at $18.25 and its 24-hour trading volume is up 2.99 percent.

Aave (AAVE) traded at $80.81, down 5.41 percent.
