The global crypto market rebounded on Friday, February 24th, 2023 after posting gains yesterday. The market was weighed down by losses in Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH) and other altcoins.
According to coinmarket.com as of 11:00 a.m. IST Friday, the market was at $1.09 trillion, down 1.90 percent from the previous day. Total crypto market volume increased by 8.46 percent to $56.08 billion in the last 24 hours.
The top trending crypto was STEPN (GMT), but the top gainer of the day was Optimism (OP), which rose 7.73 percent to $3.00. The biggest loser was Neo (NEO), down 9.42 percent to $12.31.

Bitcoin: BTC fell 1.92 percent to $23,929.41. A sharp drop in BTC price was recorded on February 23, 2023 at 4:55 p.m. IST when the price fell from $24,257 to $23,760.
In the past 24 hours, trading volume fell 1.43 percent to $28.6 billion. BTC dominance stands at 42.2 percent.
Ethereum: ETH price fell 1.20 percent to $1,645.95. A 30-minute price drop from $1,666 to $1,635 sent Ethereum into the red at 4:50 PM IST Thursday after trading in the green for some time. Since then, ETH has not recovered.
Prices continued to crash, with Ethereum hitting its lowest price at $1,632.57. ETH trading volume fell 9.08 percent to $8.3 billion.

Solana (SOL) is down 2.77 percent at $23.81.
Ripple (XRP) price fell 2.33 percent to $0.388 in 24-hour trade and its trading volume fell 19.84 percent.
Cardano (ADA) is down 3.09 percent at $0.3799. After falling 19.67 percent, the 24-hour trading volume hit $287 million.
Binance (BNB) fell 1.32 percent to $309.40. 24-hour trading volume fell 9.63 percent to $458.9 million.
