The global cryptocurrency market rose 3.26 percent on Saturday morning, reversing yesterday’s losses to hit $1.12 trillion. Bitcoin and other popular altcoins increased in value
It was a bullish day for the crypto market on February 18, 2023 after a day of losses. The price of Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and other major altcoins increased from the previous day’s price.
The global cryptocurrency market cap as of 23:00 IST was $1.12 trillion, up 3.26 percent from the previous day, according to data from coinmarket.com.
Total crypto market volume fell 11.22 percent to $71.76 billion in the past 24 hours.
The top trending crypto was Blur (BLUR) for the second straight day, but the top gainer of the day was Klaytn (KLAY), up 23.44 percent to $0.2627. The biggest loser was ImmutableX (IMX), down 1.36 percent to $1.11.

Bitcoin: The price of Bitcoin rose 3.65 percent to $24,620.51.
BTC’s rapid rise was halted yesterday but recovered from its losses yesterday. On Saturday, BTC continued to add gains.
The price of bitcoin surged from $23,976 to $24,915 between 10:10 p.m. IST on Friday and 1:55 a.m. IST on Saturday. Within 24 hours, trading volume fell 1.95 percent to $38.31 billion.
Ethereum: ETH price surged 2.50 percent to $1,698.33. ETH’s rapid rise was halted yesterday, but ETH has bounced back from its losses. Barring an hour-long dip at 1:25 PM IST on February 17, 2023, Ethereum has been trading in the green with rapid increases. However, prices remained volatile.
The lowest price for ETH was $1,653.70 and the highest price was $1,716.78. ETH trading volume fell 24.54 percent to $9.02 billion.
Other Altcoins
Solana (SOL) rose 3.67 percent to $23.42.
In its 24-hour trade, Ripple (XRP) price rose 1.56 percent to $0.3945, despite its trading volume falling 25.99 percent.
Cardano (ADA) is up 2.60 percent to $0.4039. After falling 25.76 percent, the 24-hour trading volume hit $374 million.
Binance (BNB) is up 3.12 percent to $316.46. 24-hour trading volume fell 29.02 percent to $636.9 million.

Dogecoin is up 2.48 percent to $0.088 and its 24-hour trading volume is down 49.28 percent.
Shiba Inu was up 7.29 percent at $0.0000137.
Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
Yearn.Finance (YFI) was up 1.40 percent despite 24-hour trading volume falling 18.20 percent.
Avalanche (AVAX) was up 4.20 percent at $19.74 and its 24-hour trading volume was down 3.82 percent.
Aave (AAVE) traded at $88.30, up 3.97 percent.
