Destiny 2: How to Level Up Crafted Weapons

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen debuted the weapon crafting system – or shaping as it’s known – in Bungie’s looter shooter. Along with this comes a host of new in-game mechanics, including leveling up crafted weapons to unlock new perks or traits, which of course increase the weapon’s combat power. Luckily, there are some fantastic ways to get lots of XP quickly to quickly upgrade crafted weapons destiny 2. These methods are also not limited to just crafted weapons, but any weapon that requires attunement or exotic catalysts to be unlocked.

How to upgrade crafted weapons in Destiny 2

in the destiny 2Leveling up crafted weapons – refilling your attunement progression or weapon level meter – is as simple as using them in combat (or slotting one into your weapon slot). You get extra XP for killing tougher enemies, such as B. Lost Sector, Heroic Public Event, Strike or Wellspring Boss. Completing various activities by themselves won’t reward you with Weapon XP, but they do provide an easy way to fight large numbers of powerful mobs.

You can check the weapon level by examining the weapon and then mousing over it. Then, to check how far you’ve progressed in the current level, hover your mouse pointer over the XP bar. Once the attunement progress is filled, you can take crafting materials from it. Meanwhile, increasing a weapon’s weapon level grants access to new relic bonuses for additional enhanced perks when sculpting (crafting) a weapon. To unlock these perks, these rare shape materials are required:

  • Resonant Alloys: To insert an intrinsic frame (Adaptive, Aggressive, Precision, etc.). Can be obtained by disassembling weapons and completing activities.
  • Ascendant Alloy: Required for enhanced perks/traits. Can be obtained weekly witch queen Campaign Missions, Throne World Offensives, and purchased from the Cryptarch or Banshee-44 in the Tower.
  • Resonance Elements: Required for Perk components.
  • Drowned Alloys: Required for raid-exclusive perks/traits on crafted raid weapons. Can be obtained by dismantling Disciple’s Vow Raid Weapons.
  • Memorabilia: Grants, special shaders and trackers. Can be acquired by completing certain activities.

I mentioned that they can be upgraded by simply using and/or injecting crafted weapons into combat and activities. Now let’s see which ones are worth your time and effort.

The most obvious way to improve your crafted weapons is to run Weekly Challenges, which rewards you with XP for your weapon level by defeating enemies as well as Pinnacle or Powerful Drop. Kill two birds with one stone, as people say.

In terms of raiding, most Guardians will recommend that Last Wish Raid, especially the Shuro Chi Checkpoint. That’s because you can easily find numerous Shadow Thrall in the entrance area, while stronger enemies are waiting in the hallway – just keep in mind that ammo is pretty hard to come by here. You can farm these mobs by defeating most of them and then reset them by getting killed or letting the timer expire.

Speaking of farming enemies, after the first encounter in the Broken Throne In Dreaming City Dungeon you will also find a room with infinitely respawning shadow minions. dares of eternity is also a good choice especially if you want to level up power weapons as you can get heavy ammo quickly by beating the obstacle course after the first round.
