‘Dilbert’ Finally Gets Fired After Creator Goes On Racist Tirade

Dilbert, last name unknown, was fired this week by several newspapers that printed his boring workplace observations on their comic pages, where the tacky office drone has spent his nearly 34-year career.

Publications under the USA Today and Advance Local umbrellas said they were dropping the flick following the latest inflammatory comments from creator Scott Adams, made on a live stream Wednesday.

“The best advice I would give to white people is to stay away from black people,” Adams said, mouthing it.

“Just fuck off. Wherever you need to go, just get out,” he continued.

And further: “This cannot be repaired. This cannot be fixed. …You just have to escape. So that’s what I did, I went to an area where I have a very small black population.

Adams said pollsters found that “nearly half of all black people disagree with whites,” meaning blacks are “a hate group.”

“And I want nothing to do with them,” he said.

Newspaper editors then decided they wanted nothing to do with Dilbert’s blank stare.

USA Today, which is owned by Gannett, called Adams’ comments “discriminatory” in one. opinion Posted on social media Friday. Editors for Advance Local publications, including Cleveland’s Plain Dealer, NJ.com, and MLive.com, wrote letters to their readers explaining why they decided to drop “Dilbert” as well.

“It’s not a difficult decision,” wrote Chris Quinn, editor of The Plain Dealer.

John Hiner, editor of MLive.com, which serves the Mid-Michigan region, refused to even link to the video of Adam’s recent comments.

“If you’re curious enough to expose yourself to this junk, I’m sure your search engine or social media will lead you there,” Hiner wrote.

Adams long ago came out as a right-wing reactionary, using his Twitter page and other places to punch Donald Trump back in 2015 called the Black Lives Matter movement has morphed into “a domestic terrorist organization that is setting race relations back by maybe twenty years.”

“If Biden is elected, there’s a good chance you’ll be dead within a year,” he said wrote in July 2020 as the Trump administration continued to fiddle with a comprehensive response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Republicans are being hunted down,” he added.

Adams spent part of his Saturday retweeting people who agreed with his stance on black people and recommended that even those who took revenge against him did not believe that he was wrong.

“Imagine what would happen if they didn’t agree with me. Much worse,” he said without further explanation.
