Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Make Extra Fizzy Root Beer

Scar is Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new villainous villager to contend with, and his initial quest line is pretty insane. It has many parts and even ends in a multi-day wait before you can finish it. But to get to this part you first need to blast the Nightthorns protecting a pillar in the Vitalys Mines on the Sunlit Plateau, and to do that you need to craft some Extra sparkling root beer. Let’s think about how to achieve this.

How to Make Extra Fizzy Root Beer

A little way down Scar’s opening quest line, you’ll reach a piece of paper in the Vitalys Mines that tells you to use Root Beer to blast the Nightthorns on the Pillar. When you get the ingredients at the nearby camp, you can open your inventory and click on the book you just got to learn the Root Beer recipe, which requires Vanilla, Sugarcane, and Ginger. However, this recipe is slightly different from the one already featured in our Disney Dreamlight Valley recipe list. Following the usual Root Beer recipe with regular ingredients will not make the Extra Fizzy Root Beer.

To make the Extra Fizzy Root Beer, head to a cooking station and add some vanilla and sugar cane. Then look for the Dried Ginger quest item in your ingredients list. Only by adding this Dried Ginger quest ingredient will you be able to craft the Extra Fizzy Root Beer.

Once you have the perk Fizzy Root Beer in your possession, you can now head back into the Vitalys Mines and place it in the barrel next to the candy quest item to blast those night thorns and progress along the questline of everyone’s favorite lion.
