Eurovision Sport opts for Ad Insertion Platform
EBU’s Eurovision Sport has chosen an Ad Insertion Platform (AIP) monetization solution for live streaming.
Through its Sport Digital Platform, where the sport’s governing body, broadcasters and social platforms work together, Eurovision Sport aims to ensure that sport is maximally accessible to new audiences worldwide to complement the coverage of EBU members.
In 2022, AIP integrated its ad insertion technology and monetization services into AllAthletics.tv. AIP offers the US-patented SSAI solution for all countries covered by EBU rights and integrates with EBU members’ ad servers. AIP also offers AIP Monetiz ad sales service for some specific countries if needed.
As part of the collaboration, both companies will explore monetization opportunities for digital content. AIP has partnered with major SSP networks to create a new ad sales entity designed to “unleash” new video advertising opportunities while orchestrating and managing the programmatic ad sales process.
AIP has also deployed its CDN to streamline the delivery of All Athletics live sports streaming content. With their flexible and scalable CDN solution, Eurovision Sport can deliver All Athletics live content to any screen, guaranteeing a superior quality of experience (QoE) for fans, members and stakeholders while reducing video streaming costs.
