Everton’s next six Premier League games versus Southampton, West Ham and Nottingham Forest
Everton are back out of the relegation zone after a hard-fought 1-0 win over high-flying Brentford at Goodison Park.
Dwight McNeil’s goal after just 35 seconds proved crucial as Sean Dyche’s side, who were disallowed for another goal by VAR, picked up three crucial points.
The win was particularly important after Bournemouth caused an upset by beating Liverpool at lunchtime and also propelled the Cherries out of the drop zone.
It couldn’t get any closer at the bottom of the table, with up to nine teams facing relegation. We’ve looked at Everton’s next six Premier League games against the other eight teams around them, all hoping to beat relegation.

Newest royal blue pillar
Sean Dyche isn’t worried about transfers. Not now. Not with a job to do this season.
Rumors surface every week, as they always do, about who Everton are scouting or what targets they have set. ignore her Dyche, like everyone at Finch Farm, will be aware that the squad he inherited lacks the strength to avoid a difficult season and that too much pressure is on Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s shoulders.
But Dyche’s focus is on the next 12 games. Preparatory work is underway behind the scenes during the summer transfer window, with plans being made for both scenarios – that of Everton retaining its top-flight status and the almost unthinkable alternative. However, Dyche is solely focused on the players he already has at his disposal. And it has to be.

No “MOTD post-game interviews”
According to the BBC’s Dan Roan, the Premier League has informed the 12 clubs playing games today (along with the LMA and the PFA) that players and managers will not be receiving requests for post-match MOTD interviews later today.
This comes after reports surfaced last night alleging that a number of players from different clubs have contacted the Professional Footballers Association (PFA).
It has been claimed that many players wanted to show their solidarity with Gary Lineker and the BBC’s match-of-the-day experts on impartiality by boycotting the show’s post-match interviews tomorrow.

Everton “Eye” Gonzalez
Everton are reportedly among a number of European clubs considering a move for Lecce’s central midfielder Joan Gonzalez.
That’s according to Torro.it, who are reporting that the Blues are eyeing a move for the 21-year-old this summer. The report goes on to claim that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are also interested in Gonzalez’s signature.
So far this season, the midfielder has registered three assists in 24 Serie A games but has been praised for his tough tackle performances. González is under contract with Lecce until 2027.
