FIFA 23 Standard Edition vs. Ultimate Edition
As with previous versions, FIFA 23 will feature three different editions that fans can purchase: the Standard Edition, the Ultimate Edition, and the Legacy Edition.

That legacy edition is a recall to previous versions with updated rosters, but “without new developments or significant improvements,” confirmed EA Sports. This mainly applies to the Nintendo Switch, which is only available in the Legacy Edition. It does not come with the new HyperMotion 2 technological improvements or any of the new game modes. Essentially, this is FIFA 22 with a few minor upgrades.

If the first TOTW is selected prior to the game’s release, players will randomly receive one of the 23 players selected as a non-tradable item for FUT (FIFA Ultimate Team).

Kylian Mbappe’s regular card is available to players as a loan item in FUT for five matches.
FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick
EA Sports will select three players as FIFA 23 Ambassadors – players can select one to use their regular card as a loan item in FUT for three matches.
Career Mode Own Talent
This is the only perk that doesn’t apply to FUT. Players will receive a youth player with great potential when they start their career mode team.
FUT Item Ones to Watch.
Ones to Watch FUT Items will focus on players who changed clubs during the last transfer window. These special cards reflect all of the FUT upgrades players receive throughout the season. Players will randomly receive one of these in their non-tradable version.
4,600 FIFA Points
FIFA Points can be used to purchase FUT card packs and modes such as FUT Draft.
FIFA World Cup FUT Hero (on pre-order)
Special FIFA World Cup FUT Hero Cards will be available on November 11th – just before the World Cup. Players will randomly receive one of these items in their non-tradable version.
Three days early access (for pre-orders)
FIFA 23 will be playable three days before midnight launch.
