Fischer’s Latest: Bridges, Washington, Pelicans, Dosunmu, More

Before signing his qualifying offer of $7.9 million, mile bridges was targeting about $25 million per year in discussions with the company hornets, sources tell Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports. However, Charlotte wasn’t ready to get anywhere near that number, so Bridges’ reps were quick to settle on an unfettered free hand in 2024.

Bridges was not eligible to be included in a sign-and-trade as he was not in the team’s roster last season having missed the entire 2022-23 season after being accused of domestic violence became. He agreed to a plea deal and was subsequently suspended by the NBA, which will require him to sit out the first 10 games of 23-24.
