Fortnite Chapter 3 guide: All week 0 quests and how to complete them

It’s the beginning of something new Fourteen days Season, and this time Epic Games is offering plenty of fun ways to earn Battle Pass XP. In Chapter 3 Season 4, you’ll have access to new Chrome abilities and weapons that will change the way you interact with the game. In the first week (referred to as Week 0) there is a new list of challenges, many of which are linked to the new features.

In this guide we will show you all the new challenges and how to complete them Fourteen days.

Season 4, week 0 quests

• Set up a Port-A bunker in a named location (1)
• Eliminate an enemy player within five seconds of sprinting while they are chromed (1)
• Emote on The Flagship, The Driftwood and No Sweat Insurance (3)
• Evolve EvoChrome weapons by dealing damage (5)
• Knock down a wooden pine and remove a runaway boulder in a single match (2)
• Purchase of a mending machine (1)
• Use Chrome Splash on a structure and cycle through it in five seconds (1)

Season 4 week 0 quest guide

Set up a Port-A bunker in a named location (1)

This is a simple thing. Just play and loot until you encounter a Port-A-Bunker that spawns as floor loot or from chests. After acquiring one, make sure you visit one of the main hubs (like Rave Cave or Rocky Reels) to use it. As long as you set up the Port-A-Bunker at the named main location, you will be counted towards this quest.

Eliminate an enemy player within five seconds of sprinting while they are chromed (1)

For this quest, we recommend visiting Herald’s Sanctum (which replaced The Sanctuary) or Shimmering Shrine. This is where you’ll find Chrome trees, and destroying them will give you access to the Chrome Splash item. Throwing this item on the ground will temporarily turn you into Chrome. Next, play until you come across an enemy, then use the Chrome Splash on yourself and you’ll become a Chrome blob. Dash towards them to close the gap, then fire off with a nearby weapon like an SMG or shotgun. If you eliminate the opponent within five seconds of sprinting, you’ll complete this quest.

Emote on The Flagship, The Driftwood and No Sweat Insurance (3)

We’ve seen quests like this before, and while they’re a bit tedious, they’re also straightforward. Above is a map of each location, and remember that No Sweat Insurance can be found at Tilted Towers, represented by the building with the big yellow balloon overhead.

Keep in mind that you don’t have to visit every location in the same game. After visiting all three, you will receive credit for completing this challenge.

Evolve EvoChrome weapons by dealing damage (5)

New this season are the EvoChrome weapons, which increase in rarity as you deal damage with them. To find them again, visit Herald’s Sanctum and you’ll come across Chrome chests. Open them up and you’ll find either the EvoChrome Shotgun or the EvoChrome Burst Rifle. This challenge requires you to level up to five rarities, but luckily they don’t all have to be in the same match. You also don’t need to harm real players to progress. Simply damage NPCs in Herald’s Sanctum to increase your weapon’s rarity.

Knock down a wooden pine and remove a runaway boulder in a single match (2)

We recommend landing east of Rave Cave on a large mountain dotted with Timber Pines as indicated on the map above. These are the tall, lean pines. The best way to knock down the tree is with a vehicle, but you can also use your pickaxe. At the north end of this mountain is a Runaway Boulder that you can also remove with a vehicle. Just make sure to cut down the tree and remove the boulder in the same game to complete this quest.

Purchase of a mending machine (1)

Above is a map of all the patching machines in the current version of Fourteen days. You’ll need some Gold Bars to shop at a Mending Machine, so we recommend completing some Bounties to stock up. It’s best to buy the Small Shield Potion Bundle as it only costs 30 gold bars at the Mending Machine. Simply make a purchase to get credit towards this quest.

Use Chrome Splash on a structure and cycle through it in five seconds (1)

This season’s hot new mechanic is the ability to cycle through structures using the Chrome Splash. As mentioned above, you can find a Chrome Splash by destroying the trees in Herald’s Sanctum (and as floor loot in other locations). After you get your hands on the item, throw the splash at a wall and create a portal. Then go through it to complete this challenge. Just make sure you pass within five seconds of throwing the Chrome Splash at the wall.
