Fortnite Willow Boss Fight: Where To Find Her And How To Beat Her

A long time ago in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6, there was a ghost NPC you could talk to named Willow that roamed the Weeping Woods woods at night. Now, for Fortnitemares 2022, Willow is back, but she’s not in the mood to talk. These days, she’s more into attacking players on sight because she’s a new boss NPC to fight.

As before, Willow lives in the woods – specifically the woods west of the reality tree, which is the closest match to the old Weeping Woods location on the current Battle Royale map. And instead of roaming around like she used to, she’s now settled into a home where you can find her at any time of the day.

Where can I find the new Willow boss NPC?

These days, Willow lives in a large log cabin on the edge of the map.

When you first approach it you will notice a few things. First, it’s one of those Fortnitemares spots that look dark and spooky at any time of the day, along with Grim Gables, the Reality Tree, and the Evil Dead cabin.

Second, there is a high density of undead creatures – the zombie people and chickens seem to be everywhere. Third, there are a ton of Halloween candy baskets, making this shack probably the best source of this stuff on the map for this year’s Fortnitemares. If you’re unfamiliar or just forgot, the different types of candy have different effects – gumdrops give you a low gravity effect and pretzels, for example, allow you to teleport short distances. So they can be pretty effective game changers.

Eventually you will find Willow in the house and she will attack you immediately.

How to defeat Willow

This fight isn’t nearly as hard to beat as when you’re going after The Herald or the Incquisitor. Willow only has 250 health and 250 shields, and only attacks you with an ax that deals less damage per hit than a player’s harvesting tool.

You should be able to beat them easily if you have a gun and some ammo magazines. You just have to avoid getting too startled by their screams and stubborn insistence on running straight at you.

But seriously, right now, Willow is more of a fun card oddity than a major threat like the Incquisitor. And she’s a bit of an ad, too, because you can buy the Willow skin in the Final Reckoning Pack, which is currently available in the Item Shop for $14.99.

But she might get tougher as Fortnitemares goes on – just know there will be a quest she’ll be visiting next week and they might change her stats and behavior a bit once she starts having a barrage of to get visitors. However, we’ll have to wait a few days to find out.
