Gabriel Jesus injury latest: Late Fulham decision, training pictures, Arsenal return date
Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus is hoping to return to action this month after missing more than three months after suffering a knee injury during the World Cup.
The 25-year-old suffered a medial collateral ligament injury and required surgery after contracting the problem during Brazil’s game against Cameroon in November 2022. Jesus, who joined from Manchester City last summer, struck five straight goals at the Emirates Stadium and provided another five assists in just 14 Premier League games.
Mikel Arteta’s side have done well without Jesus, with Eddie Nketiah, Leandro Trossard and most recently Gabriel Martinelli all filling the void left by their star centre-forward. But with a hectic schedule for the Premier League and Europa League over the next few months, Arteta will be hoping to have the former City frontman back as soon as possible as the Gunners look to clinch their first league title since 2004
So when that’s said football.london checked out the latest news about Jesus’ injury below.
