Garcia vs Davis LIVE: Latest fight updates
Garcia and Davis arrive in Las Vegas ahead of the Blockbuster fight
Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis will face off in one of the biggest fights of the year tonight, meeting in Las Vegas in a catchweight contest.
Davis holds the WBA lightweight title while Garcia is a former WBC interim division champion, but the Americans will be clashing at 136 pounds if they put their unbeaten records on the line.
Southpaw Davis, a protege of Floyd Mayweather, has a professional record of 28-0 with 26 knockouts, earning the 28-year-old the nickname “Tank.” Meanwhile, Garcia – promoted by Oscar De La Hoya – holds a record of 23-0 (19 KOs). At just 24 years old, “King Ryan” already has catch-up wins against Luke Campbell and most recently Javier Fortuna.
Tonight’s main event at T-Mobile Arena has been anticipated for years and Davis’ recent legal troubles threatened to delay it further, but despite boxing’s penchant for disappointing fans, the sport will deliver tonight; Garcia and Davis will try to settle their grudges in front of a sold-out Vegas audience.

In a corner stands WBA lightweight champion Davis, in his prime at 28 and undefeated as a pro at 28-0. Of those unanswered wins, 26 were achieved by KO. “Panzer” is one of the more appropriate nicknames in boxing, for sure, and once the three-weight world champion gets rolling, he doesn’t stop.
The southpaw’s armory is scary, and he’s used it to neutralize every enemy he’s encountered. When Davis’ left hand curls into a hook, the result is inevitable—or so far it has been. What’s more, the American’s attacks are seemingly fueled by malice, which only serves to amplify Davis’ intimidating essence, first perceived by Floyd Mayweather years ago.

Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis LIVE
In a year destined to be marked by a first undisputed heavyweight champion in 20 years, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk disappointed fans by failing to agree on a huge title fight. At welterweight, the Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford collision course may have been shared forever. Even Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, who have no titles or unbeaten records to worry about, continue to flirt but without setting a date. Elsewhere, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez has yet to seek a rematch with Dmitry Bivol, although such a fight doesn’t have the traction one might expect.
So, without those showdowns, what’s a boxing fan supposed to do? Well, turn to Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia, two fighters who are actually willing to risk it all.
