Harry and Meghan news – latest: Prince Harry’s children have not yet been invited to Charles’ coronation

Prince Edward referred to his wife Sophie as “Duchess” shortly after inheriting his late father Prince Philip’s title and becoming the new Duke of Edinburgh.

King Charles bestowed the title on Edward on his 59th birthday on March 10th.

During a visit to Edinburgh shortly thereafter, Edward greeted crowds on the Royal Mile and addressed a gathering in City Chambers, marking a year since the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In his speech, he thanked the audience for their support on a “very special day” for him and his wife, the Duchess.

Sarah Ferguson revealed she was not invited to King Charles’ coronation while promoting her new book at an event in New York City last week.

In an interview about the novel entitled A fascinating ladyPrince Andrew’s ex-wife said her attendance at the coronation is “tbc” or “to be decided”.

“The invitations haven’t gone out yet. Do they?” she asked, according to news reports.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who currently reside in California, reportedly received their invitation via “email correspondence.” However, Archie and Lilibet are said not to be invited at this time.
