Helpful Information For UH Sporting Events This Weekend

The University of Hawai’i lower campus will be buzzing this weekend with much-anticipated match-ups for men’s volleyball, baseball and softball. We ask that you arrive early and plan ahead.

Our No. 1 in the ranking Men’s Volleyball The team hosts Purdue Fort Wayne (12-5), No. 3 Penn State (15-1) and No. 2 UCLA (17-1) in a stacked OUTRIGGER Invitational tournament at the SimpliFi Arena at the Stan Sheriff Center, Thursday, March 31. 9 – Saturday 11 March. The Rainbow Warrior baseball The team hosts defending Big East Conference champions UConn in a four-game series that begins Friday, March 10 at Les Murakami Stadium. soft ball is hosting the OUTRIGGER Rainbow Wahine Classic from Thursday, March 9th through Sunday, March 12th at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.

As a reminder to fans attending this weekend’s sporting events, the University of Hawai’i Athletics Department expects heavy traffic and crowds on Friday and Saturday due to early evening softball, baseball and men’s volleyball events. Please arrive early and use the information below to make your game day an enjoyable one.




Clear baggage policy

CLEAR BAG POLICY
The University of Hawaii adopted one Clear baggage policy to improve public safety in our sports facilities. Competitors may bring one (1) clear bag with a maximum size of 12″ x 6″ x 12″ and are limited to one clear bag per person.

Park

PARK INFORMATION
Guests with reserved area parking permits may access the lower campus by showing their permit and then parking in the designated areas. Using the Waialae Gate entrance to the lower campus can help reduce traffic congestion on Dole Street.

On match day parking is available in zone 20 on a first come, first served basis. Admission to the park is $7 and is collected from the booths near the entrance at the gates on Dole St. or Waialae Ave. paid.

Additional overflow parking available on upper campus.
