How to Beat Sierra (October 2022)
Players can fight against Sierra, one of the leaders of Team GO Rocket Pokemon GO. It’s a challenging fight, and one of the Pokemon GO Events in October 2022. Team GO Rocket has three leaders to beat, Sierra, Cliff and Arlo. These leaders all have different Pokémon teams. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. So if players want to defeat them all, they need to know which Pokémon are best for fighting.
As the leader of Team GO Rocket, players can’t just walk up and challenge her. First they have to go through some of their minions. At PokéStops occupied by Team GO Rocket, players can battle Team GO Rocket Grunts. These battles are relatively easy compared to some of the content in Pokemon GO. After defeating the Grunts, they give players mysterious components. Players need six mysterious components to combine into a missile radar that guides players to where the leader is currently located.
Now players have a much more difficult fight ahead of them as Sierra doesn’t break down in combat Pokemon GO. Not only does she have some deadly Pokemon, but she also has a list of different ones she can bring to every battle, meaning players will have to be smart about battling her if they want to win. Also, unlike the Grunts, Sierra uses shields to block players’ charged attacks.

Although Sierra’s team composition changes from fight to fight, she always starts with a Shadow Squirtle. Your second Pokemon can be a Shadow Blastoise, a Shadow Lapras, or a Shadow Blaziken. Your last Pokémon is either a Shadow Nidoqueen, Shadow Houndoom, or Shadow Drapion. With the randomization of team composition, creating an effective team composition can be difficult Pokemon GO. Still, there are some good Pokemon that will prove effective when fighting Sierra.
Since Sierra has three Water-types she can take into battle, using a Grass-type to counter her seems like a good idea, since Grass is super effective against Water. However, remember that she also has two Fire-types and two Poison-types that can bring down Water-types Pokemon GO. A better option might be to use electric types e.g Pokemon‘s mascot Pikachu. Electric-types are still super effective against Water, but don’t have the same weakness against Fire. Dealing with Poison is also important, so bring a Ground-type or a Psychic-type for a counter.
There are many team options to defeat Sierra. Hopefully, the team players choose is good at countering their Pokémon’s strengths and weaknesses Pokemon GO. Team composition will vary greatly between players and will depend on what Pokémon they can catch and level up. If players lose the battle, they have the option to try again with another team. Players can find what works best for them.
