If you want to make sure everyone has their own favorite shows and movies, you need to create separate profiles that are easily identifiable. And what better way to identify your Disney+ profile than with an avatar of your favorite character?
How many profiles does Disney+ allow?
Before we even talk about changing your profile picture on Disney+, we need to make sure everyone knows how many people can see the service.
Disney+ allows you to create up to seven different profiles. This includes your own and six additional profiles that you can create for your friends or family members.
Each profile, whether created for adults or children, has its own viewing history and receives personalized recommendations based on that history. Please note that while you can create seven profiles, you cannot view all of Disney+ at the same time.
How to change your profile picture on Disney+
Whether you’re just setting up your profile picture on Disney+ or you’ve been here for a while and don’t remember how to change it, we’re here to help.
Disney+ offers an eclectic collection of profile pictures. They have huge collections featuring all your favorite Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars or National Geographic heroes and villains. You can choose a Mickey Mouse avatar, go for Simba, Peter Pan, Maleficent, Moana, one of the characters from The Simpsons, The Muppets, X-Men or even Zendaya. They more or less match the numerous Disney+ collections, which you can also learn more about.
Change your Disney+ profile picture on desktop:
- Load Disney+ in your browser and hover over the profile icon. Once the drop down menu appears, go to Edit profiles.
- press the pencil button near your current avatar.
- Go through the huge avatar collection and choose a new one by clicking on it.
- Once you have made your choice, you will return to the previous menu. click Finished in the upper right corner, and that’s it!
Change your Disney+ profile picture on mobile
- Launch the Disney+ app on your device and tap your profile in the bottom right.
- Choose Edit profiles.
- Select the profile you want to change the avatar for.
- Tap your avatar again.
- Choose a new avatar. Disney+ saves your selection and takes you to the previous menu.
- Tap on Finished in the top-right corner of your screen once you’re done editing your profile.
Go to your favourites
Whether you’ve picked your favorite character or just picked an avatar that looks kind of like you, you should be able to easily tell them apart. If you have kids and want to make sure they only see their profiles, you can also implement strict parental controls.
