How to unlock cooking

The higher your friendship level with the characters in the valley, the more you can complete character quests. Sometimes you will be asked to cook something for them and provide the recipe – this is the case with Mickey Mouse’s Foodception quest, for example. Where to find cooking ingredients
Cooking ingredients can be found pretty much anywhere in the valley if you know where to look – it depends type of ingredients. There are several categories: Fish, Vegetables, Fruits, Grains, Seafood, Herbs, Spices and some others. Here you can get them all:
fishes
You can get fish by fishing with the Royal fishing rod, Naturally. You can also have an automatic fish farm by repairing and upgrading Moiana’s fishing boat. It’s very useful and you can check it out from time to time to collect everything she caught while you were away.

vegetables and grains
Vegetables and grain can be purchased from farming. You can buy seeds, plant them and harvest the produce.
