To confront Imelda, players must once again travel to the Dreamveil Overlook and seek the magical mirrors that lead to the various mysterious mirror worlds. The mirror that ultimately leads to Imelda glows green and reveals the aforementioned Sand Witch when approached.

Players only need to travel through the mirror and fight their way through the Chambers of Inner Challenge to finally face Imelda, the Sand Witch.

Battle against Imelda, the sand witch

Imelda the Sand Witch makes for a particularly challenging final fight in The Glutton’s Gamble, performing some seriously deadly magic attacks. During the first phase, she teleports around the balcony and throws elemental energy balls at the player(s). These deal incredible damage, so players should keep moving as much as possible to avoid them. Running is the best way to do this, outrunning the projectiles and taking cover if necessary.

It is possible to gain height and a better vantage point for attacking Imelda by using the pipes spewing green liquid/gas found in the arena. These take the player to the other balconies, making it easier to bombard Imelda with attacks. To actually attack her, homing weapons and magic are excellent at damaging her in stage one despite her constant movement. Ferriore weapons can come in handy for dealing extra damage while reloading and for attacking without leaving cover for long. Since she has a red health bar, fire attacks will deplete her health much faster than other types of damage.

Another useful tip for Phase 1 is that many of her attacks can be avoided by hiding under the platform she’s currently attacking from, although this makes her difficult to actually attack (unless using homing attacks or Ferriore weapons are used).

Once Imelda reaches half health, the cauldron in the center of the room will start firing elemental orbs, creating an additional obstacle for players. The biggest change occurs when she reaches about 25% of her health. This triggers her second phase, where she dives into her cauldron and transforms into a goblin creature. At this point, she begins discarding food that deals poison damage on contact. Use the pillars in the room as cover to avoid these attacks.

Keep moving throughout the fight, especially in the second phase, as her homing attacks combined with her army of Gingerbread Soldiers can quickly deplete a player’s health bar if they stand still for too long. Speaking of Gingerbread Soldiers, players shouldn’t bother killing them unless they’re in the way, and instead use them as fodder in Save Your Soul mode in case they get hit by a fatal attack. With all of this in mind, Imelda can eventually be tripped, completing the Wolverine’s gamble.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
